Beginning a career with Alaska Airlines in 2007 at the SEA Ticket Counter, this candidate has built nearly two decades of experience across the operation, serving as a Customer Service Agent, Lead CSA, CSA Trainer, Lead CSA Trainer, and Scheduler. That frontline experience has provided a broad understanding of the operation and the challenges faced by employees throughout the system.

Their union leadership experience spans both Local and District levels. They have served as Secretary-Treasurer, Vice President, and President of IAM Local 2202, as well as Shop Steward and Chief Shop Steward. At the District level, they have served as District 142 Vice President for Alaska Airlines, District Educator, and General Chair. They have also represented IAM members as a delegate at District and International Conventions and through Labor Councils and Legislative Committees.

Education and empowerment are at the center of their approach to union leadership. Raised by two educators, they learned early that knowledge creates opportunity and gives people the confidence to advocate for themselves. They carry that philosophy into their union work, believing member education should be accessible to everyone and that removing barriers to learning must remain a priority.

They also believe effective unionism requires listening to diverse perspectives and creating space for members to participate. No single person has all the answers, and the strength of the Labor Movement comes from bringing people together, respecting different viewpoints, and empowering members to stand up and be heard.
