After more than 36 years as an IAM member, he has learned that strong union leadership begins with one simple principle: you have to be willing to stand with the membership.

As an Aircraft Mechanic and Crew Chief with American Airlines, he understands the challenges airline workers face because he has lived them firsthand. His IAM career has taken him from the shop floor to union leadership, serving as a Shop Steward, Chief Shop Steward, Grievance Committee member, Chief Committee member, Recording Secretary, and President of Local Lodge 2508.

He is running because he believes District 142 needs leadership that is accessible, informed, engaged, and accountable to the membership. His approach is not complicated. Listen to the members. Know the contract. Know the issues. Communicate honestly. And be there when members need representation.

He believes our strength comes from an involved membership and strong local leadership. That means supporting our Shop Stewards and Local Lodge officers, encouraging members to become involved, and making sure information flows throughout the District not just from the top down.

Education is also a major part of his approach to union leadership. His continued participation at the IAM Winpisinger Education and Technology Center has reinforced the importance of educating our representatives and members. A stronger understanding of our contracts, our rights, and the labor movement creates stronger representation at every level.

He also believes District 142 must continue developing the next generation of IAM leaders. The future of our union depends on preparing members to step forward, become involved, and eventually take on leadership roles themselves.

His record is built on decades of service to IAM members. He has represented members, participated in grievance and committee work, served in elected local leadership, educated fellow IAM members, and worked alongside union brothers and sisters across the District.

He brings that experience to this campaign with a commitment to membership representation, communication, education, and accountability.

This campaign is not about one individual. It is about the membership and the future of District 142.
