Geraldine “Dina” Burke is a longtime airline professional and dedicated union advocate with 35 years of experience in the airline industry and more than 27 years as an active IAM member. A member of MCI Local Lodge 561, Dina has built a career rooted in service, representation, and accountability through her experience with Mesa Air Group and Southwest Airlines.

Dina has served her Local Lodge for more than 22 years as Recording Secretary and has extensive experience as a teller and Local Union Representative. She has represented Local Lodge 561 at numerous District and International conventions and conferences and has served on negotiating committees for two collective bargaining agreements. Her commitment to education and leadership has also led her to complete multiple training programs at the Winpisinger Education and Technology Center.

Unionism is deeply rooted in Dina’s family. She is the daughter of an IAM lifetime member of Local Lodge 1650 and the sister of an IUOE Local 101 union organizer. That foundation has shaped her belief that strong unions are built through participation, accountability, education, and standing together.

As a Trustee candidate on the Forward Together slate, Dina is committed to listening to members, bringing their concerns forward, and ensuring the membership’s dues are handled responsibly, transparently, and with accountability. She believes members deserve a trustee who will ask questions, make their voice heard, and take a stand when it matters.
